Project Description

The BJP Headquarters in Delhi proclaims their official philosophy of INTEGRAL HUMANISM - appealing to broad sections of Indian society by an indigenous development model that puts human identity at its center. The building caters to people of various social, political and economic statuses. Each space hence, had to relate specifically to particular group of users. This informed the hierarchy of organization and the interior design language aiming at making each user comfortable and at ease. Each detail designed and chosen for the interior space produces the specific desired atmosphere. Clean, straight lines and spaces have been designed to keep circulation and movement across the building simple and straightforward. The interiors reflect this same principle. The furniture, lighting and flooring layouts designed have simple, clean geometry which promotes functionality and efficiency of the activities they cater to. Movement cues help in navigation through the various spaces.
